Recording artist Tim Karr grew up in Montreal, Canada and soon became a young veteran of the Canadian music scene. After years of performing in popular Canadian bands like Seahorse and Marked Cross, a wandering spirit and a desire for new challenges led him to Hollywood, California.

Karr’s music has been described as early Jagger, Lennon, Bowie influenced. “Classic songs with a contemporary edge.” From guitar driven rock to finely orchestrated ballads, Karr’s voice whispers with a passionate, bluesy delivery.

His first album was released on EMI records, and the single, “Rubbin’ Me the Right Way“, raised more than a few eyebrows as well as charting to #1 on some Canadian radio playlists. His video for Rubbin’ Me the Right Way was played regularly on MTV, Much Music and the Playboy Channel.

In 1997, after a successful US tour, he parted ways with his management company and record label. Karr then independently released “Everybody Bleeds“. This follow-up hard Rockin album was well-received and features the power ballad “Here Loving You”.
