Once upon a time there was something called “Talent”. It involved one or more people playing something called an “instrument” and sometimes involved “singing”.

People came from far and wide to sit and listen to a “performance”. Sometimes they danced. Laughed. Shouted with joy. To show their appreciation for this “performance”, people donated a little money to help out with the costs of this “performance”. Not a lot but enough for some food, drink, gas money & instrument rentals.
